Alright, so, is there anyone out there in this great wide world who knows what they're doing when it comes to packing for longer trips? I'm not talking about fitting a lot of stuff into a small space, I know plenty of tricks for making your clothes take up less space and whatnot. No, what I'm talking about perfecting the right amount of stuff for the number of days you'll be gone. That golden ratio. This is something that I have yet to master and in fact, really struggle with. I am a worrier, a "what if" kind of person and find that I either shove way too many things in the pack than I'll ever use or, trying to learn from my past mistakes, wind up not packing nearly enough. Maybe this comes from inexperience in traveling for longer periods of time with just the backpack and a small "personal item" sized bag. Now that I've slimmed down the amount of luggage I bring with me, I have to readjust how I pack, and I just can't seem to figure it out. If anyone has suggestions on how to better pack or any tips and tricks please, please leave a comment below, on Instagram, or on Facebook! I'd love to hear your feedback.
