Tuesday Traveler: Iceland Packing List

Alright, here it goes, its time to go to Iceland in mere days, although you'll be reading this while I'm already galavanting around the icy landscapes, and I have to pack! Winter means bulky clothes, layers, and thick accessories like waterproof gloves, scarves, hats, wool socks, and boots. But I managed to fit it all in my pack with (hopefully) some room for souvenirs...most likely a bunch of small ones though!

TECH/DOCUMENTS

Passport and copy of passport

Bus Ticket

Plane Ticket- I keep a paper copy in case, but I actually love to screenshot the tickets in my Travelocity, Delta, JetBlue, Southwest, or American Airlines app, so that way if airport Wi-Fi is acting up, I can still access it easily.

AirBNB notification/information

RFID wallet

Phone

Fitbit

Camcorder

Charging Stick

Debit Card

Credit Card(s)

AC Adapter- super important to have whenever you're traveling overseas. Adapts the any outlet to fit the type of prongs our cords have.

CLOTHES

Thermals (2 pairs)

Sweater

A million socks (okay, maybe like 11 pairs)

underwear

Bathing suit (2)

PJs

Hiking Pants

Leggings (4)

Scarf with pocket- This thing is so cool. Its a fashion scarf that has a small zip pocket in it to hide cards/cash/secret notes/ whatever you want that will fit. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076ZVV3VD/?coliid=I11NGVRSOFSJ93&colid=U4V03E3VO8LQ&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

WARM HAT-I have both a light weight, but warm, Merino Smartwool hat and a thick knitted beanie. Not sure which will be better, but I guess we'll find out.

Gloves both knitted and waterproof

Shirts (4)

Tanks (2) for layering

Bras (2)

Warm Jacket- From work I have one of those super thin jackets that don't like they're keep a polar bear warm, but actually make you sweat in the middle of winter. I don't know what they're called, but I love it.

Multi-wear hat- https://www.rei.com/product/136140/buff-original-multifunctional-headwear this thing is awesome and can be worn so many different ways. Its helped a ton on cold, windy days delivery packages! Hoping it will be just as useful in Iceland.

Dry bag- Just a little bag to keep in my bookbag that will have important documents or other things I don't want getting wet, in case the bag gets soaked in rain or dropped in a puddle or anything.

CARRY-ON

IPAD- I like to draw on it and have a feeling there will be TONS of inspiration!

Earbuds

Notebook

Tech and Documents

Water Bottle- empty of course

SNACKS SO MANY SNACKS- time to survive on cheezits and beef jerky

Sunglasses

Glasses Case TOILETRIES

Makeup

Earrings

Toothpaste

Shampoo

Shower Gel

Deodorant

Spritz- what I call body spray/mist

Razor

WEAR ON BUS/PLANE

Gray Sweater

Winter Boots

On my next post about Iceland, I will be reviewing this packing list and whether or not it treated me well while also doing a quick touch base/recap type report on my 10 days of adventure. Can't wait to see how this goes over!
